Travel to the Aleff Group Lakeland Office
The Aleff Group Lakeland Office is on the extreme Southern edge
of Lakeland in a small group of offices called Imperial Christina
Cove. Christina Cove is located at 6700, South Florida Avenue. Aleff
Group is in #21, on the ground floor. It has a green door. The office
looks out on a small (former phosphate mine) lake, with gators,
turtles, anhingas, and raccoons. There is ample free parking.

Florida Avenue bisects Lakeland North/ South and is
the primary business route for Lakeland.
Driving South
Christina Cove is located behind a car dealership called Jenkins
Auto Mart, on the left as you go South on Florida Avenue. You are
close when you see a large Home Depot on your right and a sign to
Christina Blvd at a stop light, going to your left. You are there
when you see Restoration Church.
The office complex is a little hard to see from the
road. You can cross the median directly into Christina Cove.
Driving North
If traveling from Mulberry, drive a couple of miles North. Pass
a new Walmart (opening early 2003) to your right. Then cross the
major intersection (signed left to Shepherd Road). Just past the
strip mall on the right (with Winn Dixie and Beall’s Outlet)
Christina Cove is on the right behind Jenkins Auto Mart.
If you pass Restoration Church you have gone
too far.
From Tampa Airport
(This route avoids all tolls).
Leave the airport and head on I 275 East, direction Tampa and Orlando;
(try to avoid going west – it will take you over a wonderful
causeway but a long way in the wrong direction.)
I 275 will take you across the edge of downtown Tampa
and past Ybor City.Then follow the signs (leaving I 275 to the right)
to I 4 Orlando (the celebrated I 4 corridor where all American elections
are now decided) – the road will eventually take you under
I 75. You are still going East.
Stay on I 4 until you see a sign for County Line Road
(about 30 miles – you are close when you pass a Truck Weigh
Station).Take County Line Road South (right hand turn); cross the
rail-road tracks and stay on County Line Road for a few miles until
you take a left onto Shepherd Road. Shepherd Road is marked by flashing
yellow lights above the T-junction. You can only go left.
Follow Shepherd Road East for several miles till you
cross another major rail-road intersection (the phosphate line),
which is just before a major intersection with strip malls. Kash
‘n’ Karry is to your right, Walgreens to your left.
This is where Shepherd Road meets South Florida Avenue.
Turn left (north) onto South Florida Avenue and find
Christina Cove a short way up on your right, just before the Jenkins
Auto Mart. Depending on traffic, journey time is 45 minutes to 75
minutes.
From Orlando Airport
(This route has a lot of unavoidable tolls, approximately $5 in
total).
You can leave via either Exit North or Exit South – North
is a little cheaper. You are heading for I 4 West direction Tampa.
Exit North (black signs in airport). Take the Bee
Line Express Way (528) West, direction I 4 for several miles and
a number of tolls. This also leads you through Disney, at least
to say you’ve seen it. Follow signs to I 4, heading West,
direction Tampa. (East takes you to Daytona Beach).
Stay on I 4 for quite a long way (20+ miles) until
you reach an exit (to the right) for the Polk Parkway (also a toll
road). Take Polk Parkway (and watch out for the speed limits –
the police like patrolling this road) until you reach the exit for
Florida Avenue (Lakeland). Leave Polk Parkway to the right, but
at the stop light (South Florida Avenue) go left and head South.
You will soon pass the Sheraton Hotel on your right.
Keep heading South for a few miles until you see a
large Home Depot on your right. At the stop light you will see a
left turn to Christina.Stay on South Florida Avenue a few hundred
yards further past the Restoration Church on your left and you will
see Jenkins Auto Mart. Turn across the median into Christina Cove.
Depending on traffic, travel time 60 – 90 minutes.
