FMD-free countries where vaccination is practised
Three conditions are required:
Record of prompt and regular animal disease reporting; documentation of effective
control, surveillance and preventative measures.
Notification to OIE of freedom from FMD for at least two years and routine vaccination
performed with OIE approved vaccines.
Intensive and frequent surveillance for viral activity.
