FMD Free countries, no vaccination

FMD-free countries, where vaccination is not practised (for example, North America, European Union, Australasia and Indonesia)

Three conditions are required:

Record of prompt and regular animal disease reporting.

Notification to OIE of freedom from FMD and that there have been no vaccinations for at least 12 months; documentation of effective control, surveillance and preventative measures.

No importation of vaccinates since cessation of domestic vaccination.
