Differential Diagnosis

Cattle - Mouth and/or Nares

 

Bovine Virus Diarrhoea

 


Presence of mild disease of high morbidity and low case fatality. Erosions in and around the mouth and on the muzzle. Excess salivation. Mild fever, lack of appetite and mild diarrhoea.

Differentiated from FMD by the absence of high fever, vesicular lesions and lameness. Low case fatality rate.
