Vesicular Stomatitis |

Presence of vesicles and/or erosions, and necrotic lesions
in and around the mouth, especially on the cheeks and tongue. Excess salivation.
In some outbreaks vesicular lesions may be few. Morbidity rate generally
5-10% except in dairy animals where it may reach 80%. Case mortality rate
usually zero. Milking cows show sudden fall in production. |
