CATT, a joint project of Telos ALEFF
Ltd. and British Leather Technology Centre, provides
the leather industries in the Anglophone world
with an unrivalled comprehensive and authoritative
resource for:
CATT resources are
aimed at a variety of personnel, not just tannery
staff involved directly in leather manufacture.
They are tailored to work at different levels
of understanding and to the pace selected by the
user, and can be used at all levels from operative/supervisor
to senior technical management.
One new CATT offering
available is "Factors
Affecting Hide and Skin Quality," which
details the identification and control of the
economically important diseases and damage that
affect the quality of hides and skins. It
will provide background information and introduction,
analysis of types of damage to hides and skins,
and references to work which has been carried
out. It will be provided in five languages:
English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
