In 1996, Rhône-Mérieux and Telos Aleff Ltd. entered
a working agreement to explore the customer benefits
of convergence between veterinary products and
multimedia communications. The result was a successful
joint pilot CD-ROM, published that year as Foot
and Mouth Disease: Protection (ISBN no 1-903321-11-5).
The warm reception in the market
place of this program led to a five-year strategic
collaboration with Merial, covering the diseases
defined as Les Grandes Prophylaxies.
